We had a great whirlwind of a time this Christmas!
I have much to share, but for the moment-
I GOT A NEW COMPUTER!! Her name is Vermillion. I can’t get on the internet with her, but hopefully in a few days she’ll be a mean blogging machine!

I’m soo ready for Christmas! Just a few items left on my list, but in all fairness- I didn’t go shopping until yesterday. Crazy- I know. I’m going to hit Windsor Button after work (they’re open until 3), and hopefully they won’t be too crazy.
I get to sew up my dad’s pillow on the ride [...]

I love decorating the Christmas tree at my parents’ house– seeing all of the ornaments that have been around forever- like old friends that you only see once a year. This year I took pictures of some of the handmade ones that we still hang every year.
This is sand dollar that was painted by my [...]

The one good thing about getting up early during the winter is the sunrise- I always forget to take a picture right when I wake up and the sky is deep red. It’s like waking up to a Monet painting every morning- what could be better? But I did remember to take one [...]

Tis the season-
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper- or maybe brown paper this year. I’ll make it festive!
2. Real tree or Artificial?
Real! I’m still not sure what’s better for the environment, but I know what smells better in our house!
3. When do you put up the tree?
Usually the first weekend of December- if I [...]

Well, I suppose that’s what I can say after this weekend. Though, a snowstorm is much calmer than a normal storm. Snow is very quiet for being so disturbing. I didn’t go outside much this weekend- well at all, unless you count the fifteen minute shoveling session of yesterday. It was beautiful, but alas- I [...]

I know- I already did one, but I thought that we needed a Hannukah version!!
Need a Hannukah present for that special Jew in your life?!
Jewish Gentleman Pillow by Pink Baby Mouse. Who wouldn’t want this wise old guy hanging around the house? I’m pretty sure my inlaws are not getting this for the holidays. Oh [...]

I love Christmas tree ornaments. And doing a Christmas tree is still so fun for me because it’s my third one away from my parents and my second living with Ben. I mean- it’s Ben’s second Christmas tree of all time. Can you imagine? He still loves everything about Christmas- including the carols. I could [...]

It’s going to snow today! And I am totally prepared!!
How much fun is my hat!? Jessie made it for me while we were in college. People could see me coming from the other side of campus. Jessie knit it during our winter break. Here’s what she had to say about it when I asked her [...]

I am totally still knitting. I don’t know if I’m going to make it, but I will not give up! I also refuse to stress about it. Sounds crazy, right? Especially because there’s one present I haven’t started yet? But no- I’m gonna keep going and see where I am after this weekend. Then I [...]
